About
With over a decade of diverse legal experience advising individual entrepreneurs, creatives, early stage startups, and larger public companies, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges that businesses of all sizes face. This background allows me to help clients navigate complex legal landscapes and provide them with comprehensive yet practical guidance so they can focus on what matters most - creating, innovating, and growing their business.
Prior to starting my own practice I worked at Yext, Inc. (NYSE: YEXT), joining the company as its first in-house lawyer and eventually becoming Assistant General Counsel. During my tenure at Yext the company grew from around 200 employees to over 1,000, expanded into multiple international markets, and went public in 2017. I was instrumental in developing the company's legal processes and overseeing numerous legal matters including the negotiation of a wide variety of commercial contracts, product counseling, compliance, international expansion, and general corporate work. Prior to Yext I was Associate General Counsel at Diagnostic Imaging Group and Associate Director of Business & Legal Affairs at marketing-tech platform Olapic (employee 6).
I received my Bachelor of Science from New York University in 2009 and Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2012. While at Brooklyn Law School I helped co-found Legal Hackers, a now-global grassroots organization focused on exploring the issues at the intersection of law and technology. In 2023 I returned to Brooklyn Law School as an adjunct professor of law to co-teach their Startup Law class which I continue to teach each Fall semester.
